Darija House is a 600 year old stone house located within
the walls of the Old Town of Dubrovnik. The house has
been completely redesigned and rebuilt internally, to
provide a delightful, comfortable and practical living
space for 2-4 people. The location strikes a perfect
balance - the street is sunny and quiet yet just a few
minutes away from all the attractions within the walls.
The street runs adjacent to the main city walls and from
just outside the front door you can see a partial view
of the sea as you look down the street. Stradun, the main
street in the centre of the Old Town is just 2/3 minutes
walk away down the steps. The beach is also very close,
just a short walk away. Darija House is now available
for rent all year round.
The house has approx 70 SqM of space in total, comprising of an open
plan kitchen/dining room/lounge on the ground floor and 2 bedrooms
and 1 shower room on the first floor. The house has full air conditioning.
Bedrooms: There are 2 bedrooms. The master bedroom contains
a King size bed and the second bedroom contains two single sized
beds (twin room). Each of the bedrooms contain storage furniture
for clothes and personal belongings. Bed linen and towels
are provided. Both bedrooms have air conditioning.
Lounge/Dining
Room: The light and open lounge and dining area is
approx 35 SqM (including the kitchen area). The floor
is covered with oak herringbone parquet, the wooden beams
of the ceiling are exposed, and the rendered stone walls
are white washed. The room contains a two-seater sofa,
two armchairs, coffee table, dining table with 4 dining
chairs and a storage cupboard under the stairs. There
is also a colour satellite TV, a radio/CD player and air conditioning.
Kitchen: The fully equipped modern kitchen is fitted
to the far wall of the ground floor and contains all the
items required to prepare and serve food - there is an
electric oven and hob, fridge, sink, work surface, cupboards,
toaster and kettle. Also there is a plentiful supply of
dishes, pans, cups, glasses, cutlery and various utensils.
Bathrooms: The fully tiled bathroom contains a
walk-in shower, a w/c and wash basin.
